Manually Deleting & Purging Entries
Manually Deleting & Purging Entries
To manually Delete or Purge an entry your employee log group must have that permission.
Difference between Purging and Deleting Entries:
- Deleting an entry permanently deletes the entry and all logs from pstracker.
- We recommend you purge the entry unless it is an entry made in error or you are positive it should be deleted from the system.
- Deleting an entry can NOT be undone.
- Purging an entry is the preferred method to remove entries from the system.
- Purging an entry does NOT physically delete the entry, rather it marks the entry as purged, and the entry will no longer be visible to anyone, or in any search results.
- Purging an entry can be undone with the assistance of tech support.
If you have the proper permissions, the Delete & Purge entry buttons are visible while viewing the specific entry.
