Taser (button)

The Taser button is used to select the taser the employee will use to qualify on this specific range entry.

Adding a taser to the range entry

When you first launch an entry, the taser area on the active entry will show No Weapon Added

To add a taser, click the Taser button, which launches a new model where you select the taser to be used in this entry.

• • Select the Taser
  • Select the Use,
  • Select the method of Carry.
  • Click the Update Taser button.

The Taser will be added and displayed on the active range entry.

You are now ready to qualify the employee with the taser.

Possible Issues - No tasers to select from 

If you see the wording No tasers to select from when you click the taser button, there are two possible reasons. 

• • The employee does not have a taser assigned to them within the taser module of PSTracker
  • You do not have any active tasers within the taser module of PSTracker

If your agency does not assign tasers to individual employees, or this employee is not using their assigned taser for this range event, the most likely solution is to edit the range entry and modify a configuration setting.

• • Click the Edit button 
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the range entry and assure the Show All Tasers toggle is active.
  • If it is not active (not dark), toggle it active and click Edit Entry.
  • Try adding a taser again

Issue Resolved

If you click the taser button and you can now select a taser, make your selection and You are now ready to qualify the employee with the taser.

Issue Not resolved

• • If you are unable to resolve this issue, you can proceed with the qualification, but do not forget to come back and add a taser to this event after the issue has been resolved.
  • Contact you system administrator or open a support request.
