Vendors
Vendors are managed system wide, meaning every module uses the same set of vendors.
Managers can easily click on the vendor from within an item to see the contact details for that vendor.
Example
While viewing a specific piece of equipment, such as a radio, can click on the vendor icon.
This opens a modal window with that vendors contact information.
Managing Vendors
Vendors are administered from the sub-menus of the modules.
Alternatively you can also access the Vendor Management page from the admin tools menu.
This brings you to the list of Vendors.
Add a New Vendor
To add a new vendor click the Add Vendor menu button.
A new window opens where you enter the vendors details.
When you have filled in the details, click Create New Vendor.
Edit a Vendor
Click the Edit button to edit the details of this specific Vendor.
Make your changes.
Click the Save button to commit to the changes.
Remember:
You are sharing the Vendor module. Please use caution modifying a vendor to assure you do not corrupt another managers contact Information. To assist, we display the last modified by date and name in the vendor list.
