Email Delivery Issues / History
This article discusses the issue of email delivery and email history, specifically blocked and suppressed emails. PSTracker has several reports that provide email delivery and history data.
How we deliver Email
PSTracker uses a 3rd party tool, Postmark.com, for transactional email delivery. The service ensures our email address and domain name reputation remains high to facilitate successful email delivery.
One of the features we activated in postmark is suppressing emails that are returned as bounced or non-existent. We activated this feature because we see hundreds of emails attempting to be delivered to employees who do not have active email accounts, the majority being new employee accounts activated prior to their email address being active. If we did not stop this, our domains reputation would decrease and eventually all our emails would end up in your spam folders.
To help you manage your agencies email delivery history, PSTracker offers several reports. Most reports are available by navigating to YOUR NAME => Admin Tools
Email Logs: Our own internal record of emails being sent
Postmark 30 Days: Postmarks last 30 days of email delivery
Postmark Suppressions: Employee email addresses currently suppressed
Un-Suppressing Suppressed Emails
You can un-suppress emails from the Postmark Suppressions report, additionally there is a new user management sub-navigation menu item called Unblock Emails. The button will be red if your agency has any suppressed email addresses.
This displays a list of suppressed emails. Click Un-Suppress as necessary.
