Prisoner Checks
PSTrackers Prisoner Check enhancement to the Holding Facility (Jail) Module allows your agency to document detainee checks of your holding facility cells.
The module was not designed to capture personal detainee information, however you may associate a prisoner check with a specific case number, cell number, status of the check, and if necessary you may capture photos of the condition of a cell.
Conducting a Prisoner Check
From the main navigation select NEW => Prisoner Check
Select the Cell you are checking
Select the appropriate Status (finding)
Heres a quick explanation of the fields on the Main Form
If your agency collects comments, case numbers, you can add those.
While we do not recommend entering PI information, because we do not yet have a built in expungement feature, you can enter up to 75 characters in the case number field. If your agency needed to track last names, you could enter a case number such as 24-12345 - Smith
Existing Case Numbers: By default, PSTracker will show you case numbers from the past 3 days. The number of days to look back is customizable to each agency.
Adding photos is an agency choice, not all agencies allow you to add photos.
If you need to add photos, and you agency allows adding photos, click the camera icon. A new section opens allowing you to add the photos.
Once the photos are added, if you need to adjust them, such as rotate, click the Refresh Images button at the top, which will reload the images and show rotate buttons.
Click Submit Prisoner Check to complete the process.
You can then complete additional prisoner checks by selecting the next cell you wish to check.
Prisoner Check Module Management
Management of the Prisoner Check module is done by persons with Jail Manager permissions.
Using the Holding Facility (Jail) sub-menu, select Loctions or Prisoner Check Choices.

Managing Prisoner Check Choices
Click Prisoner Check Choices to see your agencies list of choices.
You can add a new choice or edit an existing choice.
Prisoner Check Reports
If your agency uses the Prisoner Check Enhancement, there is one report available under a specific Prisoner Check Tab.
The report lists the result of every prisoner check for your agency, You can sort and filter as needed.
Prisoner Check Agency Configurations
System Admins can set the configuration settings for the prisoner check module from the tab:
Your Name => Admin Tools => Holding Facility/Jails
