Managing Events

Managing Events

You must be a system administrator to manage events.

There are only two variables within managing events; Event Status' and Event Types.

The Manage Events sub menu is ONLY visible from the New Events page; New => Events.

At the top right of the management page is the events sub-menu.

    • Statuses - event statuses.
    • Types - event types.

Managing Statuses

Using event statuses is optional.

Event Statuses are the current status of a specific event. We recommend, as a best practice, agencies update events statuses that are no longer applicable, but still remain in the system, such as after a dent has been repaired.

To edit and existing Status, click the Edit button for that Status.

Note: Active, Other, and Repaired are system statuses and can not be edited.

To add a new Status, click Add New Status

Enter the name of the new Status and click Create New Status.

Managing Types

Event Types are the type of event you are reporting. Dent, Damage, Crash, Scratch, etc.

To edit and existing Type, click the Edit button for that Type.
